Had lovely sized room, excellent breakfasts, you guys rock!
truly enjoyed climate control, multi-channel television, and tea/coffee making equipment in the room. the view of the lake was lovely. the location was favourable and beautiful for basildon, really close to the restaurant for breakfast, the town centre and festival park and a shopping complex which boasts a cinema, mini golf & plenty of restaurants.

There were an electric kettle, climate control and an individual safe in my bright and air conditioned room. Its location not too far away from Festival Leisure Park was marvellous and brilliant.
As for me, the area was really busy.

We thought the rooms were very comfortable and the beds especially were very soft - great mattresses!! We were on a Fun Ghost Hunt event at Kelvadon Hatch Bunker with a big group of us and arrived back to the hotel at 4am so to have a very comfortable bed to climb into made our stay!
The proximity to a nightclub I suppose is a plus for clubbers to stay after a boozy night out but obviously when you check in or check out or arrive back late to the hotel you are surrounded by drunk people. Which is kind of funny but brings down the tone of the place, but it is mainly due to its location. But the main thing that let our stay down and angered the other 9 people in our group of friends was the fact the Late Check Out system was so badly organised. We all booked late check outs during the reservation which i know cannot be gauranteed but then we were asked to check back later after checking in, which we did and then we were told to ask again at 9am! well... whats the point?? if you have to set an alarm to wake up at 9am to ring reception to ask if you can leave in 3 hours or 4 hrs... your gona be wide awake afterwards. Which is what happened with our group. It really let the stay down and annoyed us. If we had simply been told yes or no the night before we would have at least known.

The beds were very comfortable and it was great having a choice of pillows - soft, firm etc.
It is not in the best location being near a retail park.
